§ 25 TDDDG
Storing information on your device, and accessing it, is permitted only with your consent under § 25 (1) of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act. What is strictly necessary for the service you asked for is exempt (§ 25 (2) no. 2). The list below is organised along that line: one category cannot be switched off, the other is not loaded at all without your consent.
Changing your decision
Via “Cookie settings” in the footer you open the same choice as on your first visit — on every page, at any time, with the same number of clicks as consenting. A withdrawal takes effect immediately and for the future: statistics and error diagnostics are stopped and the stored identifier is deleted; data already transmitted is unaffected.
Strictly necessary
Without this storage the website does not work: it remembers your choice of language, your decision here, and your entries in the price calculator. Under § 25 (2) TTDSG no consent is required for it, which is why it cannot be switched off. None of it is transmitted to third parties.

Statistics and error diagnostics
PostHog shows us which pages are read, where visitors drop out, and which technical errors occur in the browser along the way. We use this to improve the website and fix faults. The controller for this processing is PostHog Ltd., based in the United Kingdom; the data is processed in Frankfurt. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR — without it nothing is loaded. Errors on our own servers are recorded independently of this; no data is stored on or read from your device in the process.

Deleting them in your browser
Independently of this site, you can delete or block cookies and local storage in your browser at any time — the setting is usually under "Privacy" or "Site settings". If you also delete the record of your decision, we will ask again on your next visit. If you block all storage, the language choice and the estimator will no longer work reliably.
Changes to this list
If a technology is added or removed, the version of this list changes with it. Your previous decision then stops being valid and we ask again — so you are never carried along on a consent you gave to something else.
