Accessibility statement
This statement applies to the website gebaeudereinigung-berlin.de. We want everyone to be able to read it and request a quote — with a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification, or without motion effects.
Conformance status
Partially conformant
Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.2, Level AA
Everything we can verify automatically or by hand is met. The closing verification with screen readers by a person is still outstanding — hence "partially" rather than "fully". The details are in the next section.
Known limitations
What follows is what we know about and have not solved — not what we do well.
The cookie notice on small screens
While the cookie notice is unanswered, very small screens (from about 375 × 568 pixels) leave less room for tall controls — the message field on the contact form, for instance — than the control itself needs. The control is then aligned to the top and is never entirely hidden (success criterion 2.4.11, Level AA). Once the notice has been answered, the situation does not arise.
Text-only magnification
At full-page zoom up to 400% the site reflows without horizontal scrolling. If only the font size is doubled and the window is left unchanged, some content pages scroll horizontally by around 170 pixels.
Screen-reader verification
The machine-verifiable requirements for labels, roles and status messages are met and are checked automatically on every change. Verification with NVDA and VoiceOver by a person is still outstanding; we will record the results here.
Assessment method and date
This statement is based on a self-assessment. Every page template was assessed in both languages, on desktop and on a phone.
- Automated on every change: axe-core against WCAG 2.2 AA over every page template, heading structure and landmarks, focus visibility, target sizes, colour contrast.
- Manual, as part of this assessment: full keyboard operation of every page and control, 200% zoom and reflow at 320 pixels, behaviour under reduced motion.
